For all types of trade show booths

Anyone who exhibits at trade fairs, congresses, and live events knows that the available booth spaces and the setup situations on site can vary. With a modular exhibition set from Modulap, you can realize all types of booths, represent different floor plans, and respond flexibly to unexpected challenges at the location. This way, you are prepared for any situation – and always on the safe side.

Corner booth

This exhibition stand is located at a corner where two rows of stands meet. The two rear walls are closed, the two front sides are open.

Inline arrangement

The row stand is the most common type of exhibition stand. A back wall and two side walls separate this stand from neighboring stands, with the front side open.

Headstand

Prominently located at the front of a row of booths, this open booth variant only has a back wall. The headstand is usually accessible from three sides.

Island position

Standing freely in the space, the island booth is a particularly prominent type of trade show booth. It often has a large central element and is accessible from all four sides.

It's that simple – Planning and designing the trade show booth

Follow the four simple steps

To achieve your marketing goals for the trade show and provide your visitors with an optimal brand experience, you should consider several points when designing your booth. It's quite simple. Just follow the four steps shown below. It's best to make a sketch on a piece of paper or on a tablet – or visit our digital 3D studio and design your booth with just a few clicks.

1. Define the base area and main elements

First, determine the base area for your trade show booth. Take into account the space needed for products, visitor flows, and consultations. Then select the basic elements that your booth must have, such as a back wall, a cabin, a meeting area, and an illuminated counter. Tip: In our digital 3D studio, you can easily draw your base area, insert your booth elements, and test different booth configurations.

2. ADD EXTRAS AND ACCESSORIES

More functions, more features: Add extras to your booth as needed, such as shelves, brochure stands, trays, and multimedia elements like tablet and TV mounts, to optimally reach and engage your customers. You can also add comfortable seating, additional storage space, clothes racks, and mounts for ceiling cubes and ceiling rings. You can naturally also explore and visualize all these options in our digital 3D trade show booth configurator.

3. CREATE GRAPHICS FOR THE TRADE SHOW BOOTH

Graphics are crucial for visual impact. Design your trade show booth holistically and use clear messages. Rely on strong graphics and images, high-contrast colors, and short texts for optimal long-distance impact. Remember that you can also print on cases, the outer surfaces of counters, and blockout. Match graphics to the respective booth modules. Information on how to properly set up print data can be found here. Good to know: In the digital 3D studio, you can insert your own graphics and test their effect.

4. SELECT PACKAGING FOR TRANSPORT

All Modulap ONE elements are available in reusable system cartons with precision-fit inserts. Additional transport packaging is also available, tailored to your team and your means of transport. With slim trolley bags, you can easily transport a set anywhere. Our system cases are lightweight and versatile, usable as a shelf, sideboard, or bench. Flight cases provide additional protection, no matter where the journey takes you. Transport options, packing volume, and weights can also be tested virtually in the 3D Studio.

What our customers say

  1. We are convinced by the Modulap principle. We particularly like the flexibility it offers us. The look and size of our exhibition stand can be adjusted at any time thanks to Modulap. The system is easy to understand and requires no tools. The Modulap system is a sustainable alternative to the 'one-time stand' and for that reason alone, a sensible investment.

  3. As a manufacturer of products in the Smart Home and Smart Building sector, we have always had a lot to showcase at trade shows and events, such as Touch Panels, Smart Speakers, Door Intercom Systems, and much more. We wondered: "Is it actually possible to do this with a modular exhibition stand?" Initial skepticism quickly gave way to increasing enthusiasm. We have been able to implement almost all ideas with the Modulap system. Planned by ourselves, built by ourselves – and, if necessary, always differently. The more than helpful team has definitely completed the overall picture for us.
