FILE FORMAT, FILE NAMING AND SIZE SPECIFICATIONS
Please send us a print-ready PDF according to the PDF 1.6 standard with a unique identification of the article, the design name, and the specification of the final format in mm. Always indicate the format in the filename in width x height. Always specify the external dimensions without the print extension. Special characters or similar cannot be processed. The file naming, including the design as a label, will be printed and thus assists in the allocation and assembly of the individual prints. Therefore, including the design and size in the filename is very helpful for all project participants.
MULTI-PAGE PDF FILES
TEXTILE PRINTS
Creating multiple pages in a PDF file is not permitted and cannot be processed in the printing process. Therefore, create each design as an individual PDF.
CASE BRANDING
It is a 1-page PDF file to be created according to specific printing specifications including a cutting path. Use our Adobe templates including vector path for this. You can find the link in the specific printing specifications for the case.
SK FILMS FOR COUNTER BRANDING
A 3-page PDF file must be created according to specific printing specifications. You can find these under the respective product.
COLORS, SPECIAL COLORS, PROOFS
Certain color specifications may not be achievable in digital printing, thus requiring adjustments to the files. In this case, please provide us with the print data in the PDF/X4:2008 standard. The additional effort resulting from the color adjustment will be charged. Special colors can only be simulated in digital printing. Therefore, depending on the material, there may be deviations between the print result and the specified special color tone. Proofs for backlit textiles are only meaningful with the appropriate hardware; without backlighting or with a different light color, the textiles cannot be assessed.
REORDERS
Due to aging, technical changes, or material substitutions, color deviations may occur in reprints compared to existing prints. This is technically unavoidable. For overarching motifs, the production of the entire motif is necessary.
HOW CAN I TRANSFER THE PRINT DATA?
You can conveniently upload your print-ready files via Data Upload here (max. 500 MB per upload). For smaller data volumes (max. 15 MB), you can also send us the data by email at print@modulap.de, specifying the order number, or send us a download link (e.g., from WeTransfer.com). Important: Please always submit the print data only after placing the order. Only with the order number can your files be unequivocally assigned to the correct order. Please also note the additional information that you will find during the Data Upload.
