LEW: Brand Relaunch at the Future Day 2024

For over 120 years, Lechwerke AG (LEW) has been rooted in the southwest of Bavaria. As a utility company, it supplies energy to more than one million people in over 280 municipalities. At the Future Day 2024 in July, the subsidiary of E.ON AG set the course for a successful future. More than 1500 employees gathered at the strategy event for the brand relaunch and were inspired by the vision and new brand identity. As the lead agency, Zeichen & Wunder accompanied the brand relaunch from the ground up and further developed LEW strategically, visually, and communicatively. The goal of the redesign was to position the company not only as contemporary but also as a central player in the energy transition – green, regional, and digital. The Munich agency also designed and implemented the Future Day together with the LEW team. To present the new brand identity and accompanying strategic content during the Future Day, LEW and Zeichen & Wunder relied on modular architecture from Modulap. With large-format lightboxes, lightframes, counters, and columns, an impressive stage design, an extensive presentation landscape, a multimedia studio, ceiling-high installations, and additional smaller brand spaces were created at the Congress Center in Augsburg. Thanks to the easily assembled elements, the entire temporary architecture could be installed quickly and efficiently. Even during the event, the team was able to adjust the architecture quickly and timely according to the program schedule. After the successful Future Day, LEW continues to use the flexible elements for live communication and flexible design of rooms and areas – including in-house and at public events. Thus, LEW relies not only on future-oriented solutions and sustainability in energy supply and brand alignment but also in the field of trade fair and event architecture.
