LEW: Brand Relaunch at the Future Day 2024

For over 120 years, LEW has been active as an energy company in the southwest of Bavaria. LEW offers a broad portfolio of energy solutions, and LEW Verteilnetz operates the region's electricity network. With the strategic vision of being green, digital, and regional, LEW is driving forward the energy transition. At the Future Day in July 2024, more than 1,500 employees gathered under the motto "Ready for Tomorrow". The focus of the event was the LEW strategy for the collective journey into the energy world of tomorrow. An important factor in this: inspiring enthusiasm for the energy future. A strong, consistent brand presence derived from the strategy is crucial for this – at the Future Day, the renewed brand was presented to the employees for the first time.  

As the lead agency, Zeichen & Wunder has supported the brand relaunch of LEW from the ground up, strategically, visually, and communicatively advancing the brand. The goal of the development was to position the company not only as contemporary, but also as a central player in the energy transition – green, regional, and digital. The internal event was also conceived and implemented by the Munich agency together with the team from LEW.

To present the renewed brand identity and accompanying strategic content at the employee event, LEW and Zeichen & Wunder relied on the modular architecture of Modulap. With large-format Lightboxes, Lightframes, Counters, and Lightsticks, an impressive stage set, an expansive presentation landscape, a multimedia studio, ceiling-high installations, and additional smaller Brand Spaces were created at the Congress Center in Augsburg. Thanks to the easy-to-assemble elements, the entire temporary architecture was quickly and efficiently installed. Even during the event, the team was able to adjust the architecture quickly and on schedule according to the program flow.  

After the event, LEW continues to use the modular elements for live communication and the flexible design of spaces and areas – including in-house and at public events. As in their core business and their social commitment, Lechwerke thus also focuses on forward-looking solutions and sustainability in brand alignment and event architecture.
