The Permanent Exhibition - please don't touch: THE CAVE

The design studio please don't touch from Dortmund develops distinctive concepts for communication in space. The permanent exhibition THE CAVE in the bunker beneath the TIERART site in Maßweiler tells of animals during times of war. The underground bunker was once part of the so-called Western Wall and later served during the Cold War as a storage for nuclear warheads. The rooms were used by the team from please don’t touch to present animals as one of the many groups of victims in a war. We are pleased that we could contribute to this moving exhibition with specially made lightboxes and parts of the signage concept.
