Shaping the future together – The Ecclesia Group also focuses on sustainability at trade fairs and events
The Ecclesia Group from Detmold is one of the leading European insurance brokers with more than 3000 employees. Its clients include churches and ecclesiastical organizations, hospitals, university hospitals, and elderly care facilities, as well as other healthcare institutions.
Under the guiding theme "1Ecclesia – Shaping the Future Together", the annual kickoff meeting of the Ecclesia Group took place in Bielefeld from February 12 to February 14. This format premiered this year. The venues included the historic Bielefeld Lokschuppen and three conference hotels. The diverse program covered cross-company topics, exchange and networking, as well as area-specific agenda items. A special highlight was the internal trade fair of the corporate group. Here, the individual business units, departments, and teams presented themselves with individual booths, information and service points. Each booth provided detailed information about the respective areas and insights into current projects, ideas, and challenges. The open, inviting format allowed all participants to get to know each other, ask questions, engage in discussions, and experience the diversity of the Ecclesia Group live.
"For the implementation of the event architecture, we needed a modern, modular system that can be used in the long term and meets our strict sustainability criteria," says Lisanne Kaufmann, event manager at Ecclesia Holding GmbH. "Modulap has completely convinced us, and the competent on-site consultation contributed to this," said Kaufmann. "The system is easy to set up and dismantle, the controllable Lightframes are a real eye-catcher, and aspects such as textiles made from recycled plastics and the long-standing cooperation with the Diakonie Workshops have further reinforced our decision." The feedback from visitors on the concept and implementation was consistently positive, and the Ecclesia Summit 2025 was a complete success. For upcoming events and appearances of the Ecclesia Group, the flexibly combinable exhibition construction elements from Modulap are firmly planned, both for further internal events as well as for international fairs and congresses.
